The game’s UE5.4 foundation — with Nanite geometry and Lumen global illumination — places it among the more technically demanding mid-budget RPG releases of 2026. The SSD requirement and the absence of last-generation console support both reflect the engine’s streaming architecture. The Valley of Mines, including its expanded areas, is rendered as a single seamless world. Gothic Classic also releases separately on 28 July 2026 at 29.99 EUR as a standalone purchase for players who missed the console bundle.
