Factions
There are no wardens left under the Barrier, only camps. The Old Camp controls the ore trade and answers to the ore barons; the New Camp of free miners and Water Mages dreams of tearing the Barrier down; and in the swamp, the Sect prays to the Sleeper and smokes its troubles away. Choosing where to pledge your loyalty is the single biggest decision the Nameless Hero makes. This section breaks down each faction: who leads it, what it believes, who you will fight beside, and what you gain by joining.

Old Camp
The Old Camp is the oldest, largest and wealthiest of the three convict settlements in the Valley of Mines, built around a fortified former royal castle.
